The first Alpacca metal coin amulet of Luang Por Guay
The first coin amulet of Luang Por Guay had been created in 2506 B.E. (1963 A.D.), rounded shape, with 3 cm. diameter. The coins were made from the “Alpacca”. Alpacca is the combined metal of copper, nickel and zinc. Sometime, we call it as white gold or silver nickel which is harder and more beautiful than the real silver. The coin has silver color with a little yellow like the ancient spoon or fork color.
Alpacca coin is a bit thinner than Brass coin (Thong Fa Bath). The first coin amulet of Luang Por Guay had been pressed, stamped and cut by Machine. Alpacca metal series was created before the Brass coin (Thong Fa Bath) but both use the same metal mold. We believe that only 9 perfect Alpacca coin amulets had been created and other amount were damaged because the metal of coin was too hard.
Moreover, we found Luang por Guay handwritten letter engraved on some coins. So the first Alpacca coin amulet of Luang Por Guay is very rare and are now very hard to come across. Also the price has risen constantly.
